A Kanban board for Obsidian, driven by the frontmatter of your notes. Drag a card and the file changes. Calendars, timers, recurring tasks and a checklist editor included.
In Obsidian: Settings › Community plugins › Browse, search for "Cockpit Board", then Install and Enable.
Cards sort into columns by rules you set (status:, date:, label:, no date). Drag and drop updates the file at once; Ctrl+Click selects several.
Week, month and year, with a time grid, all-day cards and a year heatmap.
Start and stop a timer on a card; the time lands in time_spent.
Cron-style rules create tasks by themselves each day.
Due-soon notifications on the desktop, and opt-in phone push through ntfy even with Obsidian closed. Tapping one opens the card.
Opt-in, on desktop: start Claude Code, Codex or another coding agent with the card as its task, here or on a remote machine.
A drag-and-drop checklist editor, and Split & Close to turn a half-done checklist into a done card and a follow-up.
Focus mode shows only Today and In Progress (press F). Privacy mode blurs titles for screen sharing.
Columns become tabs you swipe between, plus a deep link and quick-add for the home screen.
Cockpit Companion puts your board's week in the Omarchy bar, and the Yoke launcher can quick-add a card from the phone's home screen.
